Re: what do u think of this line long term
Overall it seems like spew with no additional info. Hard to put villian on a range without some further info though.
On the flop I like the cbet sizing. Once you get raised though, I think its time to just give up without history. You only had 30ish bb to start the hand, so we really don't have room for elaborate bluffs, do we? Please explain your thought process including ranges and history w villian if you don't mind. I don't want to just hear "I knew he had nothing so I spazzed" .... I want an explanation. lol.
I also want to know why you check jammed the turn instead of just shoving your psb? Seems risky to me that villian could just push us off with a jam.
edit: I forgot it was a cib on the flop. Makes him look super weak imo. But I still don't like the way the rest of the hand played out.

Smoke you didn't finish talking about the last hand, so if you post a hand your gonna finish before you move on. You have a unique opportunity here to chat poker without these asshole getting in the conversation. But you know I will hold you to some standard of conversation so if you post a hand, I expect you to stick around for the entire answer.
Like reibs asked talk about villains ranges, pre, flop and turn. Talk about each one separately.
I don't care if you are wrong, or if you say "Oh I get it nevermind", take this opportunity to slow the hand down, and think about it with more than one brain.
Poker is not a mystery, you will understand if you follow these thought to the end and not halfway.

yeah sorry I didnt finish last thread.. I guess we will do threads on a 1 by one basis?
As for this hand and actually starting these threads in general, I suppose I should be giving more info instead of just copy pasting a HH and saying "look" .
I cbet on this flop and villian SNAP clicked it back, which led me to believe he was planning to do that... he flatted on the co, so his range is suited connectors, broadway, suited aces, and pairs.
I have no idea why I checked turn after that post flop mess and then shoved.. that really makes no sense at all
After he clicked it back on flop I really sat there and asked myself what he's doing that with and for some reason i put him on a hand like QTo , or A rag like me, or even maybe worse
i think a leak of mine is that Im really not sure what to think.. all i know is I get this evil voice in my head that says "this guy is trying to out play you" and i go fucking crazy trying to win the pot
logic goes right out the window
glad i posted this hand, its really mind fucking me hours later.

Ya or do you just want to post questions and not stay for answers and understanding?Smoker.B. wrote:

Anytime we make an adjustment based on an assumption rather than real data we lose money. Here you can't know hes planning that, could be a misclick, could have liked the board etc. So get rid of that thought and only keep ones based on real things (for example villain shows you an Ace, now you know he has an ace).

Yes 'ish' I mean he can have other stuff but we'll feel hes usually has a range like that.he flatted on the co, so his range is suited connectors, broadway, suited aces, and pairs.
Its very simple, when you bluff and get raised SHUT DOWN. This is why we have our questions you ignore, is this value or bluff? First you decide, and then you act, once you know its a bluff then you know you shut down vs any further action.

No you didn't sit there you just called in hopes of spewing your stack. One day you are going to say, fuck he has it and i don't therefore this is a fold. After he clicked it back on flop I really sat there and asked myself what he's doing that with and for some reason i put him on a hand like QTo , or A rag like me, or even maybe worse
Thinking about betting on AXX and villain clicks it back and you fold, villain shows aces....you got him...you beat him.
You are thinking the villain is you. Players don't play like you, they always have it.i think a leak of mine is that Im really not sure what to think.. all i know is I get this evil voice in my head that says "this guy is trying to out play you" and i go fucking crazy trying to win the pot
This is because you are afraid to sit down and really learn.logic goes right out the window
