Set tournament strategy
Hey joda
I was just wondering if you could breakdown the stages of a tournament and how I should play them. I know we need to adjust to the elements as they are presented to us, but I would like to see where I'm at with my initial reg speed MTT strategy.
Thx,
Ryan

I kinda think this is a myth created by mediocre reg type players and kept going by the masses. We should play each hand to its fullest extent at each point in the tournament. That might sound blanket and not what you want to hear, but its the truth and thinking things like, 'its the middle now I should slow down, its the bubble now I should open up, is not really adapting. Thats just following a system.
We want to adapt to each and every spot. So the truth is we want to think of poker as making the most optimal decisions with each hand dealt as possible. I wouldn't want to really classify any sort of system any further.

Nice I'm not crazy! I have always thought this, but when reading online material there is alot of emphasis on stages. incorporating this into my game has defiantly hurt me then, I will go back to 1 hand at a time strategy, using the info i have to maximize.
