Non showdown/showdown on graph

Hey was looking at my monthly graph and added the non showdown and showdown chips won to it and showdown is always on the rise and non showdown is always declining, what does this mean?

showdown is when you go to the river.

non showdown includes all the time you folded.

No. If you think about with with a vpip of say 20/20 you fold 80% of the time preflop alone.
