Re: 3 bet squeeze..
So normally when we 3bet randos we will use an extended 3betting range, expecting to get some flats post flop and many check fold on the flop and check/calls with check check turn and river.
At the final table we expect the play to be slight better in general (not too much without evidence) and we can think about extending our range further expecting fold or use a polarized range since we wont' see post flop as much.
But when we have a squeeze spot we can re evaluate a little. If we expect to put alot of pressure on the initial raiser we might not need much of a hand vs him. If the flatter might call oop given the pot odds we can play all extended value profitably vs him.
The trick with this hand is that we would rather play 88 or QJs in a 3bet pot for postflop value, than flat and try to hit. So here even though we are turning our hand into a bluff pre (folding to a 4bet), we are happy in this situation because there is so much value post.
So I think that is the most likely scenario but you can adjust based on reads.
K8o has a K blocker which makes it a good idea, I do worry though that we get flatted with KTo+ often and dominate our selves. K8o should be our bottom of our range here, but its prob a good squeeze.

If we are gonna fold to a 4bet, does it really matter our range here (ie:all air hands) ? So, we get flatted, miss completely post flop..and have to fold on another street...so be it?
We have been with these guys awhile, and know they are busy 3 betting, so the amount they have a good hand is diminished, especially when we have been relatively tight in comparison.

If they never flat then it doesn't matter, but if they flat we want to be cautious of a few things.Superman wrote:

First if he check calls flops alot (call stationy), then we need showdown value. Vs. a very weak player this can be a pair and Ace or a king. Just think of a player who check/calls all the way regardless of their cards....whos gonna win on average? You because a pair an ace or king was ahead in the first place.
The amount of good hands IS diminished but we still want to have a strong range relative to his otherwise we just put money in with a worse hand vs a call station.
Lastly vs these player we want to make value bets so we need good hands that hit top pairs do do this.
Vekked always talked about 'high cards'
