Squeeze Bet Sizing

I rarely get the opportunity to squeeze, but I would like to know how to size my bet when I do get the opportunity. I'm looking for bet sizing for when we are IP and OOP.

its extremely situation dependent, best things to do is not have certain exact sizing but to think of each spot. You'll have to post hand history. Basically if you are in position you can bet smaller because you don't mind being flatted. Same goes oop with QQ+, but oop you might be ak bigger to make post flop easier (jam any flop etc.). Sometimes we want to be flatted, sometime we don't want postflop, sometimes we are 3bet/folding, sometimes we want to look committed etc.

Our sizing is really a function of all these things.

Don't squeeze as a bluff in micro-stakes poker. In microstakes poker we simply get a strong hand and raise/call for value. Our entire time we spend beating microstakes will be learning not to bluff fish.

So if I am working with a player in micros helping them move up most of the time it will be spent saying, dont' bluff here, don't bluff here, dont' bluff here etc. We win at that level, getting value vs bad players.

Ya whenever I did squeeze in the past, it is always with premiums. Was just curious if there was a standard squeeze bet sizing. with what you have said, it makes complete sense not to put a exact value on it. tyty

Its like 3x 3bet with 100bbs in cash so utg raise 3bb and you raise to 9bbs.

With antes its like 2.5x

as stacks get smaller we will 3bet smaller

eventually our 3bet it is a shove
