Our Plan: Fold...Without numbers, I think the way you played this may work out short term, but not long term.

you NIT! lol....

Seriously though if you are folding here, I think its a leak you need to plug. You are getting the direct odds to call with almost any hand. IMO call>raise>fold, but this is why im asking. Almost everyone is opening wide on the btn, and we are getting like 3 to 1 direct odds to call. I'm flatting like 60-70% of hands probably here, raising a bunch, and folding the very bottom hands.

The other thing im wondering about is post flop. Are we just getting it in on any flops we connect with more than middle pair type thing, and fold the rest?? Maybe we should list some example flop types and discuss how to proceed vs this 11bb stack.

ya we can flat here.  but we have to do it with one caution.  If villain were deeper it wouldn't matter so much, but since they have 10bbs  they are likely a bad player.

This means their stealing range might not actually be a stealing range, but we can't just assume they are nutted.  Also some randos might just min raise atc for fun.

Thats not to say good player wont min raise here, but in general they will shove the button.

So with that mix of opening range strategies we can flat and think about the times villain is just a nitty fish or reg that min raises only nuts.

So our plan is to play poker, and in that regard.

We will check almost all flops always, and only possible think of leading out on very very dry axx kxx boards like A28, K23 etc. (super small lead to get a few hands to fold and because we have ZERO showdown equity if we check).

And in general we will check shove anything with equity especially if we have fold equity.  We should slow play our nutted flops and check call mostly.

Basically just slow play our nutted hands, check shove our draws, check call medium hands (prob shove not scary turns).  and consider bet folding our air super small on dry boards.

We just have to remember if we are unsure we can always check/fold post because we don't have to play perfectly since we are getting such good odds pre, we only have to win every so often.

Nice post reebs, good thoughts pre and for posting.
