I think everything I have ever been taught has lead me to believe the best opening range to start with is approx this....Maybe even remove a few hands...

I did a search through this years 180s and found that I have only opened UTG (with a full table) in the 200/400 level 63 times. My range was this....

22+,A7s+,A5s,K8s+,K3s,Q9s+,Q2s,JTs,87s,65s,A7o+,K9o+,QJo,Q5o,J7o,96o,76o

So yeah I have been doing this with the right table (rarely). nh

Now when you did that search was it minraises or opens? Cause you don't want to include shoves.

When talking about the hands we should open my first question to people will be why? And I don't think many can answer other than thats what they were shown.

I'm not always opening q4o here but definitely frequently, it depends on some factors but its not a stretch for me.

I'm mostly always cbetting, even if i feel like checking back I'll usually bet super small to not give infinite odds.

You are right actually I need to add another filter for stack sizes and open vs shove...

After adding a stack size filter to 15bb+ (meaning I would mostly min raise) the number of instances went down to 17.

Range was a lot tighter though. KK,88,33,AQs,A9s,A7s,K8s,A9o+ were the exact hands... so there is some blanks to fill in there.

Edit: Think i might be new to filtering pt4 cus thats not a lot of hands for the amount of games played imo. i dunno.

looks like we can scrap anything we ever knew, and can profitable open ATC with 10+ beibs
